Our Pastor
Hi, this is Pastor Joe.
Thank you for visiting us today. I trust that we have been able to help you learn about us, and find some useful information as well. I am very excited to be serving in the New England region and am convinced that our greatest days in seeing the Lord minister here are yet to come.
Please let me share with you a little of my background.
My wife Robyn and I, with our three children (we added a fourth since we have been back), returned to southern New Hampshire in 1991 after attending Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We served as assistant and youth pastors at Household of Faith Christian Church in Amherst, New Hampshire until March of 1996.
I felt the Lord say to my heart one day, "There are not enough storehouses (churches) in New England."
Though New England has been coined as the 'graveyard of pastors', I’ve refused to believe that statement. I believe God placed in my heart a desire to plant new churches...as He directs...throughout New England, Canada, and all other nations He may lead us to. We started Goffstown Harvest Christian Church in March of 1996. Since then we have been involved in other church planting works both in New Hampshire and Vermont.
In 2002 I started and aviation company with my friend Scott Wharem. The company, Harvest Aviation Services, grew to become not just a successful flight school, but a charter and broker provider as well. We also provided crewing services for Lear 35A business jets being used for ‘on demand’ charter. Scott and I are both captains and have had marvelous opportunities to serve some very wonderful people and be a blessing in their lives. Bringing church and business together has provided a dual front from which the kingdom of God could be demonstrated.
Though I have since sold the company to Scott, I still crew one jet for a client and maintain my interest in aviation. I believe one day the knowledge, resources, and networks I have gained will be necessary for what God has planned for us in the future.
Well, there was a very brief description of where we have come from, and what we believe God has called us to do. I trust that this has helped you to get to know me better. Please feel free to stop by and visit one of our services. I would be honored to introduce myself to you and to shake your hand.
God Bless You,
Pastor Joe
